Bookmark syncing service Xmarks may not shut down

Xmarks may not be shutting down after all.  The bookmark syncing tool announced last month that they would be shutting down the service after funds dried up.  So far, 35000 people have signed a pledge to pay $20 per year for a premium version of the service to keep it going.  Great news for those of us who use it to keep bookmarks synced across multiple machines.
